Don’t Settle For The “New Normal”

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

dreamstime_2567795The Toronto star wrote a brief article that discussed the issue of job insecurity that is weeping the world over. Employers in both already developed markets and emerging economies are turning to temporary workers, part time workers, even just contracting with employees. The phrase many commentators are using to describe this new labor management strategy is the “New Normal”

Most businesses do this so that they can remain nimble and avoid major expenses if the company needs to cut employees of the payroll. For people interested in cdl jobs and the jobs truck drivers do, the trucking industry can be an alternative to this “New Normal.”

The Toronto Star also discussed that this new phenomena is most likely going to continue and that many jobs that were thought to be permanent will not be coming back when the economy recovers. That is very important to to consider if your thinking you’ll just get another job in the same field when the economy recovers.

Trucking companies are always trying to fill their open cdl jobs . The industry in general is always on the list of good places to get a job if your looking for a career that is in high demand. There is no doubt that CR England fits into that. The company is always trying to hire great people.

Stay off the “New Normal” bandwagon and look into cdl jobs with an industry leader that hasn’t laid off a truck driver in its 90-year history.
